Skullcandy Corporate Office Building
The Park City-based tech company desired to stay close to its roots in its pursuit of a new home, and got its wish with this striking $9.5 million, 49,000 SF facility in the new Park City Tech Center development. Its back property sits adjacent to a natural wetlands with direct views to Utah Olympic Park.
Exterior architectural elements include natural stone, zinc metal panels, concrete panels, Cor-Ten steel, and extensive use of glass. High performance glazing allows pristine views to remain with the use of shades, while mitigating heat gain on the south facing façade.
Interior spaces are unique for an office building, with 3D printing labs, sound testing chambers, fabrication shops, and research areas for product development. Millennial-driven design elements can be found throughout the bright and lively office, with game rooms, music studios and even an indoor skate ramp in the lobby.
