Ogden-Weber Applied Technology College BDO Bay 2 Improvement
This $4.6 million project transformed Bay 2 – a modest 43,000 SF warehouse – into a dynamic learning facility. In addition to beautifully designed offices and formal classrooms, the building includes fun, informal collaborative spaces, high-tech labs, a clean room, a large-scale paint booth and grind room, and observation space where students can interact with potential future employers.
Perforated metal panels were strategically located to obscure construction elements while original wooden structural members and trusses integrate with new wood finishes and compliment other interior elements. The color palette incorporates warm orange hues, bright white walls and doors, and muted gray tones throughout the interior.
