Telos U

Telos U is a unique $10 million, 74,000 SF mental health facility in Orem designed to treat young male adults. The five-story architectural tilt-up concrete building is a first for Utah, with walls that tower over 60-feet tall. The distinct, non-painted concrete incorporates integral colored sections and thin-brick accents, giving the exterior rich coloring and texture. The massive panels that comprise the structure offer a sculptural artistic quality of their own. Crews poured exposed polished concrete floors initially, which called for extra care and consideration not to damage the floor during the tilt-up construction process.
